Each year Belle Isle resident Pete Madison hosts the Belle Isle Boat Parade.  The people in the neighborhood come out as their boats are decorated with a Christmas theme.

This year Santa stayed ashore to offer Kodak moments for the crowd as they were treated to the barbecue ribs cooked on Petes special cooker. I was met by Vanessa and one of my youngest fan club members.

The warmth and hospitality was first rate from everyone. As I was leaving I realized 18 hours  was a little long to leave the LED lights on without a special charger. I had to be jump started. Thanks Bob.
